Why the Gables drives east, not west
Coral Gables proper has zoning and code restrictions that keep real smoke shops out of the downtown core. The shops inside the Gables that do exist are convenience-store offshoots with thin inventory. The real selection — full glass case, kratom shelf with COAs, full vape wall — starts the moment you cross 17th Avenue. We’re a few blocks past that line.
Driving in from the Gables: park on the residential side streets (SW 12th or 13th Ave) — almost always a free spot within a block, even at peak Coral Way traffic. Delivery works fine but most Gables customers drive over.
