Pickup or Delivery? How to Order from LB Smoke Shop

Walking into the shop is the original plan. But sometimes you finish work at 11:30, traffic on Coral Way looks like it does, and the couch wins. That’s why our entire menu lives on PortalPuff — real-time stock, real prices, pickup or delivery, no app to download.

Here’s the short version of how it works and when each option makes sense.

Pickup: fastest path to your usual

If you’re nearby, pickup is the move. Here’s the rough flow:

  1. Open the menu.
  2. Add what you want. Stock is live, so if you see it, we have it.
  3. Choose Pickup at checkout and pay.
  4. We start prepping the order as soon as it comes through. About 10 minutes later, it’s ready at the counter.
  5. Show your ID at pickup. 21+, every time, no exceptions.

You can double-park out front for 30 seconds if Coral Way is being Coral Way — call (305) 914-4393 and we’ll bring it to you. We do this all night. It’s normal.

Delivery: everything from Wynwood to the Grove

Our delivery radius is 15 miles from Coral Way. That covers a huge chunk of urban Miami — Wynwood, the Roads, Brickell, Little Havana, Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, parts of West Miami, parts of Edgewater, and most of the in-between.

The flow:

  1. Same menu, same checkout, but pick Delivery.
  2. PortalPuff confirms you’re inside the radius — if you’re outside, it’ll tell you immediately and you can switch to pickup.
  3. Pay through the menu.
  4. A driver picks up the order from us and brings it to your address.
  5. Have your ID ready. Age verification happens at the door. No ID, no handoff — there’s no workaround.

Typical delivery time depends on traffic and how far you are, but most orders inside a 5-mile radius land in under an hour. Outside that, it can stretch toward 90 minutes on busy nights. Saturday at 10 PM is the slowest window we have. Tuesday at 11 PM is one of the fastest.

When pickup beats delivery

Pickup makes sense when:

  • You’re already passing Coral Way.
  • You’re paying for someone else and don’t want them on the door delivering ID stuff.
  • You’re under 15 minutes from us — by the time delivery dispatches, you’d be walking out with the bag.
  • You want to actually talk to someone about a product. The counter is the right place for that.

Delivery makes sense when:

  • You’re more than 15 minutes away in any direction.
  • You don’t feel like the parking thing.
  • You’re ordering at midnight and the night is over.
  • You’re hosting and don’t want to leave.

A few things people miss

A handful of practical points we end up explaining at the counter:

  • Delivery is real-time, not scheduled. When you check out, you’re sending a driver right now. We can’t hold an order for a 6 PM drop tomorrow.
  • PortalPuff stock = our stock. If the menu says “out,” the wall is empty too. We update inventory live.
  • 21+ is non-negotiable. We can’t legally do anything else. If you’re 20, please don’t ask the driver — it’ll waste everyone’s time.
  • You don’t need an account for a one-off order. Guest checkout works. Make an account if you want order history.

What about the in-store experience?

Honestly? Still worth it sometimes. The counter is where you find out about restocks, drops, and the random local-artist glass piece that just walked in. The conversation isn’t on PortalPuff.

But for the ten o’clock weeknight “I just want my thing,” the menu is faster. That’s why it’s there.
